**About us**
Karora Resources is a gold and nickel producer in WA. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, we currently operate the Beta Hunt Underground Mine in Kambalda and the Higginsville Gold Operations, which includes a 1.3 Mtpa mill and processing plant, near Norseman in the Goldfields region of Western Australia and the 1.0Mtpa Lakewood Mill in Kalgoorlie.

**The opportunity**
We are looking for a hands on and organised
**Procurement Superintendent** with strong leadership skills to join our team at. This is a fulltime role within our Perth based team. You will enjoy being involved in the day-to-day details as well as strategic planning and leading the site based team.
- Develop and execute best practice procurement strategies for a diverse range of goods and services
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes
- Support supplier onboarding and due diligence processes
- Monitor and manage supplier performance
- Negotiate contract terms with existing and future suppliers
- Hands on involvement with leading the day-to-day procurement activities such as purchasing and contracts administration
- You will ensure efficient coordination from purchasing through to site delivery
- Manager and oversee the site-based warehouse function and staff
- You will manage a range of site and corporate stakeholders
- Be able to provide direction to the warehouse personnel on warehouse management, purchasing, training, cycle counting, etc., to provide consistency across and interaction between sites

**About you**
- Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s licence
- End-to-end procurement experience within the mining industry
- Computer literacy in using the Microsoft Office suite (Word & Excel)
- Proven ability to successfully negotiate, establish, and administer contracts
- Knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, systems, ERP (Pronto) and Excel
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
- Solid communication skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative, and successful working relationships with your team and stakeholders
- A can-do, team-oriented attitude
- Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
- Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
