We are looking for an Accounts Officer to join our office-based team located in Miranda

This dynamic role will be suitable for an ambitious **Accounts Officer** to join our team through an exciting period of growth.

The Accounts Officer will be working closely with the finance team across payroll, accounts payable and receivables.

**Key Responsibilities and duties**
- Payroll Processing & Award Interpretation
- Accounts payable
- Liaise with Operations and Business Development or other internal staff for any account-related issues for solutions and information.
- Processing employee expenses
- Accounts receivable and managing all the client portals
- Assisting with ad hoc projects as required
- All round supporting the finance team

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Intermediate level Excel skills
- Experience with accounting packages such as MYOB, Elmo payroll software, Sage Intactt will be beneficial.
- Preferable payroll experience
- Some Creditor and debtor accounts experience is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability of working effectively both autonomously and within a team
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines and multi-tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain a culture of performance, professionalism and continuous improvement

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Excel: 3 years (required)
- Accounting software: 2 years (required)
- Payroll: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
