The Role
We are seeking a results-driven Account Manager with a strong focus on sales and client development to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who combines a natural flair for relationship-building with a strong understanding of creative production and project delivery.
The role is ideal for a Sales/ Account/ Project Coordinator looking to make the next step in their career in the exhibition space.
You will be responsible for developing new business, managing key accounts, and ensuring seamless delivery of custom stands and activations by collaborating with our internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within exhibitions, events, and experiential marketing sectors.
- Proactively reach out to prospective clients via calls, meetings, and industry events.
- Prepare tailored proposals and quotations based on client briefs and business objectives.
- Pitch concepts and capabilities with confidence and professionalism.
Account Management
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients, building trust and long-term partnerships.
- Understand client needs, objectives, and budgets to deliver tailored solutions.
- Act as a point of contact throughout the sales and delivery process.
Project Collaboration
- Work closely with Designers, Project Managers, and Production teams to ensure client expectations are met.
- Oversee the briefing process, timelines, and approvals to ensure smooth project execution.
- Attend installations and brand activations when required, acting as client liaison onsite.
Sales Administration & Reporting
- Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts for management.
- Meet and exceed KPIs and revenue targets aligned with business goals.
Key Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in a sales, account management, or business development role within events, exhibitions, creative production, or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability or willingness to close deals and manage client relationships from initial enquiry to post-event wrap-up.
- Confidence interpreting briefs, budgets, and basic technical drawings.
- Collaborative mindset – comfortable working cross-functionally with creative and operational teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in event sales, experiential marketing, or custom build environments is highly regarded.
- Driver's licence and willingness to attend client meetings and event sites as required.
