We are looking for a highly motivated individual with high level technical skills who wants to progress and is looking for their next career move.
This is a newly created role in response to our fast growing client portfolio. We have seen revenue grow 50% (in the last 4 months). The role will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of approx. $700k in fees.

**About you**
We are looking for a qualified and experienced manager or strong senior looking to take the next step in their professional career. We want someone who is a team player, with strong technical and communication skills, is experienced reviewing work and enjoys fostering strong client relationships.
**The Role**
Your role is to manage staff workflow and development, client relationships and the technical aspects of the work. With a CFO mindset to our clients’ operations, you will be encouraged to contribute ideas and opinions to any problems/situations that may arise. Always ensuring that the information we provide to decision-makers is useful and makes an impact.
The role is a combination of management accounting and compliance. With a significant lean towards management accounting work (75%), you will be heavily involved in the review process of monthly reporting to key clients. Monthly reporting can consist of management accounts, dashboards, unit costing and ad-hoc analysis. Compliance work consists of reviewing annual tax returns, financial statements, activity statements and acquittal calculations.
**Further duties and responsibilities**:
- Ensure work delivered by the team is to a high standard, on time and with all client expectations met
- Maintain a strong team relationship, assisting with managing performance, setting goals and providing regular constructive feedback and training of junior staff
- Be proactive with developing and maintaining client relationships
- Be Innovative, look to improve processes and drive efficiencies internally and for our clients
- Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies when required
**To be successful in this role, you will need to be/have**:
- Degree qualified in Accounting (or similar)
- A CA or CPA
- 5+ years’ experience in a Business Services role or similar
- Experienced using Xero (advanced) and excel (intermediate)
- Attention to detail & takes ownership of work
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills
- The desire to challenge yourself and the status quo
- Must be an Australian Tax Resident
**Role Type**:
- Remote - Permanent - Full-time - Mid-Senior Level
**Pay Rate**:
- 110000 AUD - 140000 AUD (Annum)
