**About the role**

If you’re a Social Worker with experience delivering Support Coordination and are seeking your next challenge to lead a team, then this is the role for you

We are seeking a Team Leader to lead a team of Specialist Support Coordinators and Support Coordinators in the provision of best-practice quality support services for autistic individuals and their families. The role will also provide direct services to clients. *The successful applicant must be a degree-qualified Social Worker with current membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).

**What you will need to succeed**
- Significant experience in the provision of case management, support and service coordination under the NDIS.
- Significant experience working with autistic individuals and their families.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice and practical experience delivering quality therapeutic support to autistic individuals across diverse environments, including in the community, clinic and/or home(s).
- Ability to work effectively with families and internal and external stakeholders in addressing the needs of autistic individuals across the lifespan.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of current safeguarding practices for children, young people and adults.
- Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision and support to early career Social Workers.
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Worker (minimum Bachelor’s degree)
- Current professional membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Satisfactory DHS Working with Children Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (paid workers), and National Police Check; and
- All mandated doses of COVID-19 vaccinations
