⭐️SEEKING SUPERSTAR DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKERS⭐️

**Location**: ASHGROVE 4060

We are seeking 2 empathetic, caring, calm-natured, reliable souls to be the final puzzle pieces in a close-knit team of support workers. We foster a friendly workplace where you will be valued and can make a real, positive difference.

The position is providing in-home support to a 42 year old woman with a neurodegenerative condition. You will be assisting with:

- domestic support
- meal prep
- therapy assistance
- pet care
- admin tasks
- transport/community access (in support worker's vehicle - mileage paid)

No previous support work experience is necessary (full training provided), but empathy and an understanding of chronic illness is a key requirement. Please bring a joyful spirit and a sense of fun The position is casual, but with a regular roster (there is flexibility to complement your uni studies/other commitments). Pay rate starts from $45/hr. Female applicants preferred please.

The successful applicant will:

- be adaptable, observant & proactive
- be capable of carefully following instructions
- be skilled at working quickly & efficiently without supervision
- use common sense
- maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- be detail-orientated and amazing at multi-tasking
- have own reliable vehicle
- have Disability Worker Screening, current senior First Aid & CPR, ABN & relevant insurances (or willingness to obtain these - assistance provided with this process)
- be a non-smoker
- **be located within a 15-20 min travel radius of Ashgrove**
- be able to commit to a minimum 12 months
- have flexible availability - we are seeking to fill shifts across all 7 days of the week including **sleepover (mandatory),** weekday daytime, weekday evening, and weekend
- like cats
