**About the Role**

As a **Disability Support Worker**, you’ll play a key role in transforming lives. Whether you’re supporting individuals with mental health challenges or physical disabilities in their homes, clinics, hospitals, or out in the community, your work will focus on **enhancing the quality of life** for those you support. You’ll provide practical assistance and emotional encouragement to help individuals thrive and achieve their goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Community Access**: Empower participants to get involved in their local community and discover new experiences.
- **In-Home Support**: Help make everyday tasks easier and create a welcoming, supportive environment at home.
- **Personal Care**: Offer respectful and compassionate care that helps individuals feel dignified and valued.
- **Domestic Assistance**: Lend a helping hand with light housekeeping to keep everything running smoothly.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A **reliable vehicle** and **valid driver’s license**.
- **Comprehensive car insurance** (or willingness to obtain).
- A **Certificate III in Individual Support** (or a commitment to complete it within 6 months).
- **Current First Aid & CPR certification** (or willingness to obtain).
- Police Check, **NDIS Yellow Card**, and **Working with Children Check** (or willingness to obtain).
- A compassionate and **caring nature** - including the willingness to assist with personal care when required.
