**About the role**

We are on the hunt for an experienced Product Specialist to join our team in this newly created, permanent position. This is a key support role within the Customer Portfolios division (which is an excellent place to build your Product career) in the PHI (Private Health Insurance) and Financial Products team. The team are also a part of the 4 day work week trial happening here at Medibank.

Reporting to the Product Manager, the role will support with the ongoing management, product and proposition development, product delivery and implementation, contribution to market share growth and profitability of Medibank and ahm’s Pet insurance portfolio. The role will also help Product Managers to manage other portfolio’s within Financial Products such as car and home insurance. It’s a great opportunity to gain exposure to a range of Products as you work across the different teams.

This brand new role will offer you a huge range of variety. Day to day, your responsibilities will include:

- Deciding if your day is better spent working from home or in the office - we don’t do mandatory office attendance days here at Medibank, but will need you to commit to team days and other events every now and then.
- Supporting the management of product profitability, including Pet Insurance P&L across Medibank and ahm,
- Managing portfolio revenue Portfolio sales targets
- Reporting on and presenting customer satisfaction levels including monitoring Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Actively working with sales channels and other key stakeholders to develop plans designed to achieve sales targets for Pet Insurance
- Develop competitor and market analysis to provide insights to assist sales staff and provide recommendations on market opportunities, product design and new product opportunities.
- Manage compliance and regulatory changes/reporting on an ad-hoc and as required basis.
