About the role
The Marketing Campaign Specialist, part of the Brand & Marketing business unit in Customer Markets, collaborates with the business to design and deliver innovative campaigns for AGL customers. Responsible for supporting and leading campaign delivery and performance, the role ensures consistency and excellence in multi-channel campaigns aimed at growth, retention, value optimization, and brand awareness. Functionally reporting to the Brand and Marketing unit, the specialist is embedded in cross-functional teams to design and go to market with propositions while maintaining strong ties to the Integrated Marketing chapter for expertise sharing and alignment on campaign activities. The specialist upholds marketing best practices and standards, contributing to business objectives.

What you can expect in the role:
- Plan, scope, and support budget analysis for campaigns, considering go-to-market plans, timeframes, omni-channel strategies, media spend, and campaign objectives.
- Set rules for volumes, targets, segments, and requirements for visual and digital assets, copywriting, key performance indicators, and campaign monitoring.
- Support the delivery of campaigns across all channels, working with business delivery leads and the media planning team.
- Work with creative agencies to communicate briefs, set SLAs, and manage budget expectations.
- Regularly analyse campaign outcomes, identify opportunities to optimize propositions and channel strategies using data and insights dashboards.
- Communicate campaign objectives and plans to the business and marketing communities, ensure standards and consistency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful campaign delivery while adhering to guidelines.
What we would like to see you bring:
- Strong experience in BTL marketing and personalised 1:1 marketing campaigns and customer journey design. Familiar with marketing automation platforms such as Adobe or Salesforce.
- Ability to interpret marketing analytics and deriving usable insights to improve campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience in Integrated Marketing with a tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or business-related field.
- Strong understanding of marketing across various mediums and channels, including digital, and knowledge of communications development, campaign management, implementation, and production processes.
- Demonstrated experience with digital analytic tools to monitor campaigns, user behaviour, and provide insights for analysis and reporting.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously, plan and implement initiatives quickly, and manage budgets and forecasts.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, ability to deliver recommendations on time and to brief, and effective team collaboration.
- Ability to translate strategy into customer solutions, understand operational and regulatory environments, work through complexity and ambiguity, and prioritize for high performance with a customer-focused approach.
