You will coach, mentor and lead a credit assessment team to ensure Great Southern Bank are meeting their obligations under Responsible Lending and in a way that supports agreed performance outcomes. You will role model our Great Southern Bank values, leading others to deliver a customer centric service and better-value banking for our customers.

**You’ll make an impact by**:

- Leadership - you will need to motivate and encourage your team members, as you will be seen as a wise and knowledgeable source and people will seek you out for advice
- Customer Focus - You will need an excellent ability to successfully establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
- Risk Management, Performance Reporting, Compliance and Workplace Healthy & Safety

**Do things differently with us**

**To succeed in this role, you will have**:

- Strong experience in people management, including coaching and mentoring team members (3 years)
- A high level of working knowledge and experience in home lending
- Operational management experience, including workflow management, resource management and meeting key SLAs
- Formal qualifications in a relevant area of study, for example business or finance (desirable)
- Knowledge of relevant finance industry standards, acts, codes and legislations (e.g. CCC, Code of Practice, Privacy Act, Trade Practices Act, Financial Services Reform Act)
