**Commercial Cookery Trainer & Assessor**

We are Looking for Trainer & Assessor to deliver:

- **SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management**:

- **SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management**

**Key responsibilities will include but are not limited**
- Deliver training to wide range of participants from diverse backgrounds.
- Conduct assessment in accordance with the principles of assessment and rules of evidence;
- Development and enhancement of learning and assessment material
- Ensure all materials, assessment plans, assessment tools are current, sufficient, valid and reliable
- Managing the kitchen operations & deliver kitchen practical units.
- Participation in Milestones training and assessment validation sessions.
- Keeping accurate and detailed records of student attendance and course progress.

**Selection Criteria**

To be considered for these positions, you will need to demonstrate the following requirements:

- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110 with upgrades) is essential
- Local and relevant hospitality (**Cooking**) industry experience (minimum 4 years)
- Relevant vocational competencies in Commercial Cookery & Hospitality management at minimum of Diploma level or Higher-level qualification at least to the level being delivered and assessed
- RTO training experience, delivering to international students desirable.
- LMS (Moodle) and aXcelerate (Student Management System) experience is preferable.
- Evidence of appropriate qualifications and recent/current industry experience relevant to the area of training you wish to conduct.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and strive for quality standards, ensuring compliance requirements always adhere to.
- Ability to engage learners in a classroom environment.
- Experience working with diverse groups of students.
- Ability to work with teams with culturally diverse backgrounds.
- Willingness to participate in course development activities.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and written communication skills.
- Moderate computer literacy (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
