Lead Culinary Visionary

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Lead Culinary Visionary. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting exceptional dining experiences, mentoring a passionate team, and upholding high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

The role involves collaborating with the Executive Chef to align culinary standards, share resources, and drive innovation. Seasonal menu changes will be led by the successful candidate, showcasing Tasmanian produce and wood-fired grill techniques. Kitchen budgets, food costing, and supplier relationships will also be managed by the candidate.

Key responsibilities include delivering exceptional dining experiences, mentoring a passionate team, upholding high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation, collaborating with the Executive Chef, leading seasonal menu changes, managing kitchen budgets, and recruiting new kitchen staff.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Head Chef in fine dining environments with expertise in contemporary cooking and wood-fired grill techniques. Strong leadership and team-building skills are essential, along with a passion for Tasmanian produce and hospitality excellence. A Certificate III or above in Commercial Cookery is also required.
