Our client based in Fremantle is seeking an Events Coordinator.

**Your new company**

Our client based in Fremantle is seeking an Events Coordinator for a 2-to-3-month temporary contract. Our client is a statutory body focused on the tourism, recreation, and cultural heritage of a popular coastal tourist attraction in Perth. This role would join a small to medium-sized supportive team and will report to the Director of Marketing and Events.

**Your new role**

As an Events Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

- Assist with the development of the organisation’s annual events calendar
- Supervise the delivery of the event experiences
- Review revenue generation and how to maximise returns
- Develop project plans and operational event planning
- Develop strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

**What you'll need to succeed**

Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:

- Experience within organising and managing major events
- Proven ability to develop new opportunities for the organisation
- Experience in project planning and budget preparation/ review
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
