Australia's largest public museum organisation is seeking a Facilities Contracts & Assets Coordinator to join its Strategic Facilities Management team.

**ABOUT THE POSITION**:
The primary responsibility of the Facilities Contracts & Assets Coordinator role is to provide contract management, asset and risk management, and procurement expertise and advice, for the Strategic Facilities Management department to ensure optimum contractor performance is achieved and risk management processes are implemented and maintained for all Museums Victoria buildings and facilities assets.
**Notable skills and experiences**:
- Demonstrated understanding of risk management requirements and processes relating to health and safety, buildings and assets maintenance, and service contract management.
- A sound understanding of procurement and tendering processes, including relevant legislation and common practices. Demonstrated experience in the timely management of contract administration processes and the procurement of new contracts.
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of long-term asset management strategies and facilities management processes.
The successful applicant will have experience in negotiating and managing building and asset maintenance and service contracts, including contractor performance management.
OTHER INFORMATION
This is a full-time, ongoing position. The salary on offer is $92,332 (pro rata) + 11% superannuation.
