A small towing company are recruiting an experienced Accounts Officer for our growing business located in Airport West, VIC.

**About the company**:
Our small family business has been in the automotive industry for over 40 years. We specialise in accident and trade tows and have established a solid foundation with our insurance providers and ongoing clientele.

**About the role**:
As an Accounts Officer, your day-to-day tasks will include the following:
**Duties**:

- Accounts payable duties; including corporate invoice entry, reconciliations & creditor payment processing
- Accounts receivable duties; including receipting customer payments & managing receivables ledger
- Credit card reconciliations
- Weekly reporting
- Support with the end of month process
- Liaising with sites, suppliers & other key stakeholders on a regular basis
- Managing the accounts inbox, filing & other general administration duties

Additional duties as required

**Skills and experience**:

- **1+ year previous experience**:

- Automotive industry experience would be highly regarded
- A keen interest in being part of a high growth business
- Proficient with the following software; Microsoft Office & Xero - this would be highly regarded
- Have a positive, friendly, and professional attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
