One of Australia’s prominent **Federal Government Departments **is looking to engage an experienced **Project Support Officer **to support the program and provide administrative support for a range of technically orientated projects and diverse stakeholders. The **Project Support Officer** will define and maintain registers, access controls, and quality processes. The successful **Project Support Officer **will be offered an initial **12 month** contract along with **2 x** **12 month extension** option partnered with a **rewarding hourly rate**.

The successful **Project Support Officer **will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Assisting with program and project planning, and drafting of program artefacts
- Maintaining program and project risk register(s), including scheduling regular reviews and updates
- Investigating issues of medium complexity and produce related briefs for SES officer consumption
- Preparing of governance packs for program and project boards and conduct as board secretariat

The successful **Project Support Officer **will have experience in the following:

- Knowledge of Project and Program Management methodologies
- Experience in assisting programs and projects with risk, governance and assurance activities
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
