**Who we are**

The Digital Enabling Services Branch provides the Digital Services Division with program management and assurance, business engagement, human resource services, financial management and reporting, in-house commercial services and assistance in governance and strategic communication matters. The branch is also responsible for the Shared Services Centre which governs the provision of ICT services to participating entities.

The Project Management Office (PMO) manages the resource requirements for all ICT enabled projects within DSD. These positions will sit under the PMO governance structure and will be supported by the DSD Project Management Competency, run by the PMO, however they will report directly to a Project Manager who will be responsible for their day-to-day supervision/management.

**The Jobs**
Digital Services Division have several Project Support Officer positions available. These roles provide diverse administrative and IT related project support, working with project teams and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of project governance and delivery are successfully managed. Project Support Officers ensure that delivery of their projects meet standardised project management, governance and assurance activities as well as supporting the outcomes and contributions of the DSD Project Management Competency (PMC).

The duties of the roles will require you to:

- work with project teams to administer and coordinate a range of program/project activities including the production, delivery and management of project schedules, budgets, reporting requirements, delivery of project artefacts and the identification and resolution of issues
- engage with the Project Management Office, support staff and colleagues across the department to deliver high quality advice and outcomes
- act as the point of contact for, and liaise with, a wide range of stakeholders
- identify and manage project changes in accordance with established processes and standards
- use, adapt and work across various delivery methodologies (Prince2, MSP, Agile, SAFe and Hybrid)
- provide secretariat support for Working Groups and Steering Committees
- manage several projects’ priorities and tasks as delegated
- support innovation, continuous improvement and learning and development.

**Please note** that this recruitment process will be used to fill multiple vacancies, both ongoing and non-ongoing, in the Digital Enabling Services Division. If an offer of non-ongoing employment is made, the successful applicant would be employed for an initial period of twelve months with the possibility of extension. The merit pool established through this selection process, which is valid for a period of eighteen months from the date the vacancy was advertised in the Public Service Gazette, may also be used to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies in the division where the duties are of a similar nature.
