**Your Domain**:
As Talent Manager (AU), you'll play a pivotal role in attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent across our Australian business. You'll lead the full-cycle recruitment process, working closely with People Leaders to build high-performing, values-aligned teams that support our growth strategy.
This role sits within our People Experience function in Melbourne and is hybrid requiring 2-3 days in office each week. You'll to the Director, People Operations & Experience. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across ANZ and the US and Canada, and have the opportunity to contribute to broader People Experience and cultural initiatives that create an outstanding employee experience.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Lead timely, high-quality talent acquisition processes aligned to business growth and workforce planning goals
- Own end-to-end hiring for corporate roles, from advertising and sourcing to screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Partner closely with People Leaders to build effective pipelines and deliver a smooth, efficient hiring manager experience
- Leverage tools such as JazzHR, LinkedIn Recruiter, and BambooHR to manage hiring workflows and reporting
- Support the promotion of Buildxact’s employer brand and employee value proposition through campaigns, job ads, and events
- Provide recruitment insights and metrics that support data-informed hiring decisions (e.g. time-to-fill, source quality)
- Monitor upcoming attrition and collaborate on proactive resourcing strategies
- Contribute to People Experience initiatives and OD projects that improve our ways of working and team experience
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work and other relevant Australian employment legislation
- Support hiring manager capability by coordinating or delivering recruitment-related training sessions
- Provide generalist support across areas such as employee inquiries, benefits enrollment, and onboarding logistics
- Contribute approximately 10-20% of your time to office and team coordination activities in Melbourne, such as booking social events or onsite initiatives
- Champion an inclusive, values-led approach to hiring and internal mobility
**Who You Are**:
- Experienced recruiter with a background hiring in SaaS, tech, or high-growth environments
- Confident managing corporate requisitions across multiple business units (Go-To-Market, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Operations, etc.)
- 1-3 years of HR generalist experience highly regarded (e.g. employee relations, performance conversations, onboarding)
- Proficient in using HR tech (JazzHR, LinkedIn Recruiter, BambooHR, Culture Amp, etc.)
- Known for your professionalism, empathy, and excellent judgement - especially in high-stakes or ambiguous situations
- Organised and outcomes-driven, with the ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines
