**Accounts Receivable Officer - Sydney, NSW**

The Role of the Accounts Officer - AR, is to provide support to the Head of Finance and Financial Controller in the control of the finance and accounting policies, practices and procedures. It will also include the compliance with statutory requirements, preparation of monthly financial reports, accounting records, variance analysis and ad hoc reporting, allowing senior management to make informed business decisions and thereby improve our profitability.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

- Local point of contact for all Accounts receivable related matters
- Daily Bank reconciliation
- Co-ordinate with FSS, Set-up of new customer accounts
- Customer Rebate reconciliation
- Assist with cashflow forecasting (collections)
- Any other adhoc duties to assist Financial Controller and Head of Finance and other

functional team members- Assist in preparation work schedules for yearend audits and annual tax returns
- Liaise with external accounting and related service providers upon instruction to ensure

statutory obligations are met.- Be responsible for matters in the company SAP system to ensure related internal control

objective is met.- Month end close procedures (Including journal posting and accruals)
- End of Month General reporting and reconciliations
- Perform other financial and administrative matters that the company may see appropriate.
- Administration of financial requirements as directed by the Head of Finance and Financial

Controller
- **Mandatory Skills & Experience Requirements**
- 3+ years’ experience in Similar Roles
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills including Excel
- Strong communication both written and verbal, attention to detail, analysis and report writing skills
- SAP Experience
- Ensuring Best Practice in all responsibilities
- Experience in US Multi-national Companies
