**About Us**

**The Role**

The Accounts Receivable Officer will look after and manage the Fackelmann debtor's ledger. In this role you will be responsible for customer accounts, maintaining the integrity of the company’s accounts receivable ledger.

**Duties will include**:

- Account reconciliation and payment allocation
- Maintaining overdue balances to a satisfactory level
- Assist the ATB - DSO Weekly
- Following up with customers in relation to outstanding accounts
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external customers
- Investigating of customer and credit claims
- Ensure customers payments are adhered to the agreed payment terms
- Assist in the yearly review of Customer Credit Limits & Terms.
- Maintain customers PPSR update and keep records

**What we are looking for**:
To be successful in this role you will have:

- HSC or equivalent. Accounting Degree would be highly regarded.
- At least 5 years Accounts Receivable experience preferably in the FMCG industry
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent customer service, communication and time management skills
- Drive and determination to achieve results
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to multi task
- Strong data entry skills with the ability to work quickly and accurately
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel
- Embraces change and demonstrates adaptability
- Professional ‘can do’ attitude and to be hands on
- Strong interpersonal skills to build meaningful partnerships
