We’re seeking a Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our marketing team. You will work across a broad range of initiatives that are designed to raise awareness, improve customer engagement and drive our company strategy to make it easier for our customers to do business with us.
As our Marketing & Communications Specialist you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Copywriting and content creation will be at the core of your role. You’ll receive and execute communications briefs from a variety of teams and stakeholders across the business
- Create engaging and on-brand content that will encourage customer action towards our business and communications objectives
- Deliver a range of Marketing and Communications activities including, but not limited to:
- Communications to support projects and initiatives
- Develop data briefs, reporting and targeting strategies
- Proactive customer communications to increase customer engagement.
- Coordinate the development, design, approval, production and distribution of marketing materials with designers
- Provide proactive advice to internal stakeholders on best communications approach to support strategic business priorities and positive customer experiences
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills combined with expert language skills. You’re a skilful writer with great attention to detail who’s experienced in creating multi-channel communications and content
- Demonstrated experience within a marketing and/or communications function, preferably within a B2C environment
- Experience developing customer communication strategies, including mapping business processes, understand customer impacts/opportunities, and creating channel plans
- Ability to think critically and strategically with strong planning and organisational skills
- Understanding and experience in analysing data to find actionable insights to develop tactical communications campaigns
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Experience writing content for digital and social media channels
- Experience utilising a marketing automation platform, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud, highly valued
