Our client is a well established and highly regarded Law Firm with strong leadership, a collegiate office culture and a genuine passion for assisting their clients to achieve positive outcomes.
**About the role....**
Working closely with the Practice Manager you'll be responsible for managing the payroll function for the firm as well as provide assistance to the accounts team and assist with the day to day running of the office.
**Some of your responsibilities will include, but not limited to;**
- processing payroll including superannuation, payroll tax, leave entitlements and PAYG reporting
- manage the set-up of new employee details
- assist the Practice Manager with monthly management accounting
- trust accounts and auditing
- liaise with building management and assist with building/office maintenance and security
- ensure compliance with relevant legislation
**Skills and experience we'd love...**
To be considered for this role you will have previous experience in a similar role in a Legal/Accounting Firm together with;
- experience with trust auditing
- advanced Excel skills
- strong attention to detail
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to meet deadlines and work within time frames
