**The opportunity**:
We are on the lookout for a Payroll Coordinator to join our People & Culture team Reporting directly to Payroll Manager, the Payroll Coordinator is responsible for working within a high-volume and fast-paced payroll division, ensure the timely and accurate payment of employee wages. The Payroll Coordinator will also collect and verify employee data, compute wages, ensure employees receive correct payment in alignment with company policies, relevant industry regulations, tax and deduction laws.
Our support office is based in Richmond
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Managing the on-boarding and off-boarding duties of employees;
- Efficiently process payroll runs, including STP & PAYG duties and managing leave requirements
- Update data with salary or wage adjustments, process other financial compensations or deductions
- Handle benefit expenses, paid and unpaid leave
- Ensuring all queries are resolved and monitoring all incoming mail
- Liaising with key internal and external stakeholder
**The skills and experience you offer us**:
- Experience in Payroll or similar role (desirable)
- Comfortable working on MS Excel and other MS Office tools
- Great attention to detail
- Experience with using HR3 or any payroll system (desirable)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is a must
