**This opportunity**

Providing information security assurance services to various projects across TPG Telecom, and working with project managers and scrum masters performing threat and risk assessments on the various solutions being built.

If you come from another industry and you’ve never worked in Security before, we are still interested. We will complement your existing knowledge of compliance, quality, or risk by providing specialist security training.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure non functional requirements and technical enablers are followed in projects and stories; where there are exceptions you will manage the approval of the exception
- Perform compliance assessments of projects and stories ensuring we build secure design systems that are compliant to our policy set, security strategy and legislations
- Promote security awareness and advocate for policy
- Maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Seek ways to improve our processes with the aim of reducing bureaucracy, whilst maintaining our security posture.

**Key Tasks**
- Write a design threat and risk assessment for each project/story that you work on
- Approve the transmission protocols used in projects and stories
- Approve the Solutions Architecture Document
- Write risk reports for our internal government compliance
- Approve the security controls evidence submission.

**Knowledge and experience**
- Previous security experience is not a prerequisite, but is desirable
- University degree in a relevant field is preferred but not absolutely necessary
- Security skills we can train if you do not already have them.

Previous experience in the following roles would be desirable:

- Quality assurance
- Risk and compliance
- Consumer operations
- Project management
- Business analyst
- Auditing.
