Our Governance, Strategy and Business Improvement team is currently seeking to appoint a **Governance Officer, Strategy and Business Improvement.**

In your role you will support the development, coordination and implementation of initiatives and projects across the risk, audit, ethics and governance branches, contributing to greater operating efficiencies, increasing organisational engagement and embedding a culture of risk, assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement to support the achievement of quality strategic and operational outcomes.

A background in Finance would be highly regarded as you support the Manager, Strategy and Business Improvement in setting and allocating budgets as well as completing the monthly reconciliations of operating and labour expenditure.

**About You**

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dedicated team and facilitate strategy and business improvements initiatives and projects. Through your gained experience you will have demonstrated ability to think strategically, laterally and focus on developing efficient and effective business process improvement solutions to support the division.

Stakeholder engagement and collaboration is critical with this role and you understand the importance and can build trusted, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure you gain a clear understanding of their needs as well as effectively support the implementation of initiatives and change. You can confidently work with competing priorities and operate efficiently to unplanned changes which may impede delivery and identifying ways to mitigate these risks.

Knowledge and experience in finance, specifically relating to accounting and assisting with budgets would be advantageous for this role but not mandatory.
