About Us
A & I is a Disability Support Service that provides a range of disability supports to NDIS Participants.
The role of the HR Manager is to manage the recruitment, induction, training and exiting of staff to ensure the organisation is fully compliant with all relative legalisation. They will be required to manage the administrative and compliance side of all related the organisation. This will Include on board of new Participants and ensuring all documents is compliant. Maintaining on
Industrial Relations and OH&S within the workplace and ensuring Employees are always compliant. This position will also require you to develop and review new policies and procedures as per industry changes.
In order to be successful in this position you should have strong knowledge within NDIS, professional and have excellent communication skills.
- You will be a key person In supporting Audit activity and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
Quality: Management system requirements
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning:
Advise management on meeting customer requirements
Employee professional development
Appraisals
Rostering for Support workers
Recruitment & induction
Manage resources to meet contract requirements.
Measure and monitor contract performance
Assist management with new projects.
Administration:
Customer account management.
General administration duties.
Quality, WH&S and Environmental
Management
Record training and compliance requirements.
Ensure staff understand any relevant information needed to comply
Determine, report, correct and prevent the recurrence of any non-conformance.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Understanding WH&S and Environmental systems requirements
Confident to communicate required Improvements to staff to ensure they are implemented and compliant
Knowledge of the industry, quality standard Indicators and code of practice.
Creating and continuous improvement planning (QIP)
Internal audit experience
Managing day to day tasks
SKILLS:
Excellent knowledgeof NDIS
Ability to plan, coordinate and problem solve
Ability to meet deadlines
Experience with Fire Drill Evacuations and Rehearsals
Ability to work alone as a leader.
MINIMUM CRITERIA
Certificate in Human Resources or qualification in Business Administration or equivalent and experience in the role of NDIS
Knowledge and experience in employment law, Worksafe, Workcover. OH&S, organisational planning and development, employee engagement and development.
Understanding of the recruitment process.
Knowledge of organisation policies and procedures.
Experience and skills In NDIS
Long-term goals for the organisation.
Strategic planning experience.
Must have:
Current driver's licence
National Police Check
Be an Australian citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia
Working with Children's Check.
Reference Checks and Employment History.
NDIS Full Screening check.
**Salary**: $59,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
Schedule:
