
Master Scheduler

We are currently seeking for a Master Scheduler to join our NSW, Head Office Team.
- This fast-paced role will have you generating and maintaining local manufacturing schedules to support sales activities, manufacturing efficiencies and target market requirements.
**Exciting Challenges**
- Create Master Production Schedules (MPS) by site and manufacturing cost centre.
- Distribute and communicate Master Production Schedules (MPS) to site managers and production team leaders.
- Communicate production priorities to Production Management.
- Confirm the status of scheduled production targets and take appropriate actions when required.
- Liaise with the purchasing team to confirm raw material and packaging availability to meet scheduled production requirements.
- Negotiate with Target Market Managers, Site Managers & Production Team Leaders when available production capacities are exceeded and in turn highlighting to the business when the available capacity does meet the needs of the business.
- Collaborate with SI&OP Manager concerning changes to forecast data.
- Identify, correct and/or communicate to key stake holders if key item master data / planning parameters are incorrect or absent in AX. i.e.:
- BOM’s, lead times, order multiple, dimensional data, inventory inaccuracies etc.
- Monitor, analyse and communicate stock out and low stock priorities to the wider Supply Chain and Operations teams.
- Report and maintain statistical data pertaining to planning activities & manufacturing execution.
- Identify issues impacting on workflow, engage with key stake holders to review, problem solve and implement actions to enhance master planning activities to ensure customer DIFOT expectations are met.
- Provide a weekly open work order report to site managers & production team leaders.
- Any other tasks and responsibilities that may arise due to business demands that falls within the scope of this role.
**We Need Your Skills**
- Possess APICS or similar professional certification.
- Have a minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience in a Planning and Purchasing environment.
- Have strong analytical skills to interpret data for planning purposes.
- Have advanced Excel skills.
- Have experience in collaborating in an S&OP environment
- Be detail-oriented and highly organised.
- Have reading comprehension to understand technical and legal requirements.
