**About the Opportunity**
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will support the delivery of support activities based on a key ASC project. This may include managing the planning, execution and closeout of minor projects or elements of projects and supporting the planning, execution and closeout of projects, including: workforce skilling projects, capability upgrade projects or business/process development and improvement projects.
**Responsibilities**
- Support the planning, development and maintenance of performance baselines as well as measuring work progress, analysing variances and developing corrective actions
- Conduct project risk and opportunity reviews, with the development and proactive management of risk mitigation / opportunity realisation strategies
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of programs and key stakeholders are informed of project activities and objectives
- Preparation and collation of reports in accordance with project requirements
- Develop and coordinate the implementation of applicable Project Plans, ensuring alignment with Contract requirements and ASC’s corporate goals and the needs of the individual business units
- Maintain schedules, budget, governance documents and registers so they are kept up to date
- Proactively manage operational activities in line with ASC’s policies & procedures and as per the applicable processes and policies

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:
- Autonomous, goal directed and capable of managing multiple priorities with limited direction
- Knowledge of project governance/ controls and record keeping practices
- Stakeholder engagement and presentations skill and experience
- Highly developed written and verbal communication
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Well organised with high attention to detail
**DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:
- Certificate or Diploma in Project Management
- Risk analysis and mitigation training
- Knowledge of procurement and contract management functions
