An opportunity has arisen for a Team Assistant to join the Group Treasury team in our Financial Management Group. This role sits within the GT Central team and forms part of the COO function. You will be supporting a growing team and assist the Executive Assistant to the GT Co
- Treasurers and Division Heads.
Bringing your exceptional people skills and love of helping people; organisation and completing tasks; you will have the opportunity to:
- Support the Division Head EA with administrative tasks across the division
- Provide leave cover for other assistants as required.
- Attend to office management tasks and submit building facilities tass
- Manage purchase orders and expenses
- Arrange internal meeting rooms and catering
- Maintain floorplans and locker lists, and facilitate floor moves as required
- Raise technology and business services issues and order specialised stationery
- Maintain division offsite storage documentation
- Update distribution lists and organisational charts
- Order staff technology - laptops, mobiles, SIM cards
- Arrange onboarding/offboarding of staff
- Assist with GT wide events
- Deal with other ad hoc administrative duties and ad hoc tasks that arise
- Work using systems such as Outlook, OneDrive, Workplace, SharePoint, Excel, Concur and Coupa
This is a busy, fast paced team where you will act as a point of contact for the business on a broad range of operational and administrative requirements. Requiring a flexible, positive, and can-do attitude and the ability to manage your workflow autonomously, this is an integral role that will see you grow and develop your skills, interacting across all levels of the corporate hierarchy.
**Skills and experience required**:
- 1+ years experience in office related admin highly desirable
- highly organised with strong attention to detail, and great coordination skills
- ability to work independently and prioritise concurrent work
- thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, be agile and responsive to change and demonstrate a willingness to learn
- be confident interacting with people from all levels and be able to adapt communication style to meet peoples’ needs, both written and verbal
- excellent computer capabilities in using systems and technology particularly across the Microsoft Office Suite
- be a strong team player and collaborate well with various stakeholder groups
