**Your opportunity**:
As our valued Category Manager, you will play a vital role in managing commercial engagements and driving value for TPG Telecom Fixed and Wireless Networks team. You’ll draw on your procurement and negotiation skills, experience with complex supplier contracts, analytical abilities and collaborative approach with stakeholders to secure optimal vendor agreements, drive cost savings, ensure contract compliance and effectively work with internal teams.

**You'll make impact by**:

- Managing the portfolio of vendors and their engagements across the Fixed and Wireless Network portfolio, working closely with the relevant business owners to deliver optimal value to TPG.
- Demonstrating best practice procurement and implementing category strategies across various business areas and spend categories that support the delivery of the TPG business strategies.
- Identifying and managing the delivery of savings and cost reduction initiatives without compromising business objectives or quality or service/scope.
- Managing the RFx processes, leading commercial negotiations and contracting with vendors to ensure optimum outcomes whilst ensuring that our dealings with vendors meet the highest professional and ethical standards.
- Maintaining a consolidated vendor base, leveraging scale and value and performing supplier performance management. This includes managing the transition in of new vendors and transition out of terminated suppliers
- Supporting initiatives related to procurement transformation of processes and systems improvement.

**What you’ll bring**:

- ** Procurement Experience**:Strong commercial and negotiation skills with procurement experience in the Telecoms industry. Proven ability to lead complex RFx processes. Category management experience desirable.
- ** Supplier Performance Management**: Experience managing complex supplier contracts and supplier performance.
- ** Analytical Skills**:Proven reasoning skills capabilities.
- ** Stakeholder Management**: Demonstrable record of effective engagement with stakeholders and a well-developed ability to communicate and present to senior management and executive levels.

**Ideally, you will also have**:

- ** Education and Experience**:Commercial degree qualified or equivalent desirable. Experience/qualification in engineering or proven experience in the field desirable.
- ** Results orientated**: Track record for delivering against demanding targets, with emphasis on costs savings, cost avoidance and improvement in working capital.
- ** Communication Skills**: Well-developed written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- ** Policies and Processes**: Sound understanding of purchasing policies and processes.
- ** ERP experience**: Experience in ERP and P2P solutions
