**How will I help?**

The Group Business Resilience (BR) team assist Westpac (the Group) in preparing for and guiding the organisational response through disruptive and significant events which could have a material impact to the Group. The team is responsible for ensuring the Group meets the requirements of APRA regulatory standards CPS / SPS 232 and embedding business continuity and operational resilience into the culture of the organisation.

In the event of a disruption, the BR team also support the business in response and invocation.

The Manager role is responsible for leading the facilitation of incident and crisis response to a broad range of Group stakeholders, ranging from divisional to executive level. The position is also responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of incident and crisis management tools and frameworks within Westpac in accordance with CPS / SPS 232 requirements and the Group Standard. Building strong relationships is critical in this role as you will need to work with many different stakeholders across the organisation.

Core accountabilities of this role include:

- On-call assistance for the Group to manage disruptions and ability to meet business objectives, stakeholder expectations and compliance obligations.
- Support the facilitation of incident and crisis response to a broad range of Group stakeholders.
- Support the Business Resilience Training Stream in Testing and assurance of processes and procedures through scenario exercises and training sessions with senior business stakeholders.
- Integrating incident and crisis response processes across the Group, including specialist response teams (e.g., Technology).
- Ensuring that all relevant requirements of CPS / SPS 232 requirements are met and escalating any non-compliance to senior management as required.

**What do I need?**
- Tertiary qualifications in a business, project management, risk, or finance related discipline.
- 3+ years relevant incident management, resilience, and risk experience at a similar level.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of APRA standards and expectations, industry better practice, and maintaining / developing external networks with key BC practitioners external to Westpac to monitor industry trends and movements.
- Detailed understanding of policies, procedures, and proficient use of tools (BC system functionality / capability and MS Office).
- Understanding of risks, controls, testing, and requirements in the Operational Risk Management Framework, including reporting obligations.
- Proven experience in analysis and reporting and expert user of analytical tools in Excel. Excellent proficiency in translating and analysing data.
