**The Role**
Reporting to the Senior Strategic Communication Officer, the Communication Officer is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of communication strategies to reach the early childhood education and care sector.

As part of an experienced strategic communication team, the Communication Officer helps develop, coordinate and publish a range of communication materials and activities, including:

- website content
- mailout and newsletter content
- social media content and moderation
- video scripts and direction
- stakeholder engagement and management

**Skills and Capabilities**
We are seeking individuals with the following skills and capabilities:

- Great organisational and administrative skills, especially the ability to manage workload and coordinate and schedule a range of activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Great technical skills, especially operation of standard MS Office software and a willingness to learn new software.
- Great communication skills, including the ability to write well and learn new techniques for developing content for digital media.
- Experience with developing and managing social media content.

**Qualifications and Education**
A Bachelor Degree in Communication or similar field, or equivalent work experience is an essential qualification.

**Eligibility**
**Baseline** clearance to undertake the role.
