**About us**

The Housing Hub was created in 2017 with a goal to support people with disability to find suitable and quality housing, and to support the efficient operation of the disability housing market. The Housing Hub consists of several teams who support the Housing Hub website, assist NDIS participants to achieve great home and living outcomes, provide training and capacity building for people with disability and stakeholders working within the NDIS, develop resources and videos, and provide information and market data. We are passionate about supporting people with disability to live a life of dignity in the way they choose.

The Project Specialist works in the Business Services team and will work with many stakeholders to deliver on projects and change activities. These projects may be technological, operational or cultural.

**About the role**

The Project Specialist provides expert knowledge and guidance to the Business Services Team and other Housing Hub teams to support the successful implementation of new projects and key change activities. The role will take ownership of the delivery of a portfolio of projects and activities across a range of business areas. The Project Specialist will work on activities that may impact individual teams or the entire organisation, and is likely to include some exposure to new technology implementations, process optimisation and supporting the implementation of new programs and services.

The Project Specialist is responsible for the successful delivery of projects and key change activities, from planning and design through to implementation. The role will be required to work closely with a number of stakeholders to ensure that projects and change activities meet objectives and quality outcomes, are delivered on time and on budget, risks are managed effectively, and implementation progress is regularly reported.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Project management**
- Develop, maintain and monitor project plans and budgets
- Identify, plan and manage resources for projects
- Ensure that project milestones are met on time and align to project objectives/scope
- Schedule and attend stakeholder meetings, including developing agendas, writing/overseeing minutes for project meetings and maintaining action items
- Identify, monitor and report regularly on project risks and issues, ensuring that risks and associated control development are owned by relevant stakeholders and actioned
- Ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standards, with a focus on delivering high quality business outcomes
- Ensure that project owners and key stakeholders agree and understand on project scope
- Work with the Business Operations Manager to develop and implement standardised and fit-for-purpose project and change management practices

**Data and reporting**
- Record, monitor and report on project progress and associated activities
- Undertake post-project reviews to assess effectiveness of implementation, analyse and report on outcomes
- Monitor and regularly report on project progress, ensuring that project milestones are met, resourcing constraints and blockages are identified early and escalated as appropriate
- Ensure that project plans, registers, decisions, communications and other project documents and data are complete, accurate and maintained in agreed systems
