**About the Role**

The eCommerce Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing and e-commerce plan for our Pathways projects and ALPA’s new Arnhem Land based fashion and art label.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to mentor and train local staff in our Nhulunbuy Fulfilment Centre.

**This role is based in the Nhulunbuy.**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with developing a new Arnhem Land-based fashion and art brand, including all aspects of brand development.
- Develop an eCommerce platform to drive the Nhulunbuy Fulfilment Centre Project.
- Establish a marketing strategy for the brand including website development, social media, and SEO.
- Provide day-to-day support of the brand and fulfilment centre operations including production,
- staff support, logistics and fulfilment operations where necessary.
- Support and mentor junior staff and encourage their development into taking on further responsibilities.
- Provide specialist advice around eCommerce to other ALPA projects across Arnhem Land.
- Produce comprehensive reports around eCommerce project and brand development.

**Skills and experience**
- Knowledge and experience in developing and managing eCommerce operations.
- A passion for Indigenous fashion and art, and for developing new economic opportunities for Yolngu across Arnhem Land.
- A willingness and capacity to build ALPA’s new brand from the ground up, with general skills in all areas of brand development: strategy, design, marketing and operations.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills including proficient written and oral communication skills that can be adapted to meet the needs of people from all education levels, language abilities, and ethnic origin.
- An ability to obtain and maintain an NT driving license.
- A relevant qualification in art management, marketing, or business.
- Prior success in developing a new business, brand, or label.
- Previous experience working in a remote or regional environment and/or with First Nations people.
