About You
With a passion for coaching and developing others, you will be motivated by seeing people gain independence in their life. You will have proven experience of supporting people with disabilities, including mental health issues and will be further matched by the following:

- Effective listening skills and adaptable communication style and a strong commitment to client-directed support with demonstrated ability to coach and lead a team
- Technical expertise of the NDIS and its impact on outcomes for people with a disability and existing models of service delivery, pricing and billing arrangements, record keeping and mandatory reporting
- Experience with dual disability or dual diagnosis support
- A willingness to work in a flexible and agile manner, being open to new ideas and have a creative way of thinking with high energy and a can-do attitude
- Tertiary qualifications in Mental Health, Disability, Social Work, Psychology or other relevant qualification, or extensive relevant experience

About the Role
We take appropriate actions to ensure that our staff and the people we support are as safe as possible. You will be expected to adhere to all OHS standards, requirements and processes, including (but not limited to) wearing appropriate PPE and regular hygiene and cleanliness practices.

This role is responsible for leading high-quality practice for people we support in accordance with their individual NDIS plans will ensure that we put the people we support at the centre of everything we do.

**To achieve this, the role entails**:

- Team leadership, implement strategies that engage, develop and retain staff whilst ensuring they maintain a focus on client directed supports aligned to participants’ recovery goals & service delivery objectives
- Working collaboratively with the families, carers, clinical and other professionals in a person’s network to ensure a holistic approach to meeting individual needs
- Assist with planning budget expenditure and then ensuring services are delivered within the approved budget
- Monitoring and evaluating support plans
- Confirming accurate case notes are completed regularly by the team and that regular case reviews are conducted

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday. Work from home up to 3 days a week, with a minimum 2 days in either our Dandenong South Head Office, or Geelong office.

It is a requirement of this position to meet all compliance requirements concerning NDIS Work Screening, Working With Children card, work rights and possess a current & valid driver’s licence.
