Carter Newell has an exciting opportunity available for a passionate and motivated Communications Coordinator in our Brisbane office. In this position you will play an important part of the day-to-day running of the marketing and business development team. Our team environment is a close knit one where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Designing and executing communications strategies, campaigns and plans
- Submission and report writing
- Preparing presentation support material including Powerpoint, handouts and associated marketing collateral.
- Assisting with the drafting and compiling of marketing collateral including press and social media releases, marketing campaigns and business development initiatives.
- Assisting with graphic design and layout of content

This is a hands-on role, where no two days are the same, working across the full spectrum of communications.

**Essential Experience and Criteria**

To be successful in this role, you will have at least two years’ experience in a communications or marketing role. You are a strong writer, particularly in drafting media releases, newsletters, articles, social copy and commentary. If you have skills in Canva or Adobe InDesign/Illustrator, that’s great Your eye for detail is exceptional and you have the ability to contribute to communication strategies from the ground up, helping the team execute with confidence. Your stakeholder management is top notch, you deliver on time and produce high quality work. You are a highly organised multi-tasker with proven written and editorial skills and the ability to tell a story using words and images.
