Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. What you’ll do
As the Associate Director - Product is responsible for (but not limited to):

- Lead the development and delivery of innovative products and solutions in Managed Services and CX, driving Datacom’s leadership position in these markets
- Define and evolve product strategies that reflect visionary perspectives and embrace cutting-edge tools, technologies, and business models
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis of customer wants and needs, prioritising insights that inform product development and decision-making
- Identify industry trends and disruptors to proactively position Datacom with innovative offerings aligned with future demands
- Drive the translation of customer requirements into actionable work programs with measurable business outcomes that empower change and growth
- Represent customer interests and advocate for customer-centric innovation in product design and development, ensuring their voice guides strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Datacom Sales and Delivery, to identify and pursue new opportunities that enhance Datacom’s footprint in Managed Services and CX
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by introducing creative ideas, modern processes, and methodologies to accelerate progress and amplify impact
- Ensure governance and risk management strategies adhere to applicable legislation, industry standards, and organisational priorities, facilitating authenticity and trust consistently

What you’ll bring
- Deep expertise in taking IT services and products through lifecycle with evidence of being able to build views of addressable market (TAM, SAM, SOM etc), competitive intel, customer demand and complex pricing models
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead collaborative teams to achieve organisational goals, including building product roadmaps with backlog and priortisation
- Exceptional research skills, with the ability to dive deep into market trends and understand customer needs, translating insights into impactful product offerings and associated market testing
- Experience in development of Customer value propositions - including clear examples in this space to identify as market leaders with highly differentiated services
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and achieve alignment across the organisation and with external stakeholders
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills that simplify complex concepts and connect them to tangible business outcomes
- Highly developed written communication skills, demonstrated through executive briefs, corporate reports, and thought leadership pieces
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by the expertise to design innovative and effective solutions that address customer challenges and needs
- Exceptional business acumen and an in-depth understanding of IT Managed Services and CX offerings, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution at every stage
