We have an exciting opportunity for a Power BI Platform Lead to join our Data Platforms team, a hands-on and technically driven role at the heart of our enterprise reporting and analytics capability.

This is a permanent position with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in the office), and you’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing data team driving innovation across the business.

Reporting to the Head of Data Platforms, you will take ownership of our enterprise BI environment, including the development and maintenance of Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reporting solutions. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to interpret requirements and translate them into impactful data visualisations and insights.

In addition to hands-on development, you’ll also play a key role in ensuring technical stability, promoting reporting best practices, and mentoring analysts across our data community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the Power BI platform, including user access, workspace configuration, and capacity planning.
- Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Create and optimise data models to enhance performance and usability of reports.
- Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance for reports and datasets.
- Assist in reporting key metrics related to overall platform health.
- Contribute to building and improving Knowledge Base articles to support service delivery and end-user support.

You bring strong communication and leadership skills, driving collaboration between technical teams and business users. As Power BI Platform Lead, you inspire your team while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation to deliver impactful, scalable reporting solutions.
- Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and semantic modelling.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate complex data insights effectively.
- Experience with financial reporting, metrics and commercial analysis is highly desirable.
- Experience working with data operations teams and support models.
- Experience working with large datasets and complex data sources.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer in a professional setting.
- Experience in managing the operational aspects of the Power BI platform.
