**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a **Platform Owner** to be part of our Technology and Communication Services Command. The role is responsible for the strategic management and overall success of technology platforms within NSW Police Force with a primary focus on overseeing the lifecycle of the platform, from initial planning and design to ongoing operations and continuous improvement.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Understanding of IT Service Delivery processes and experience in following the best practice in IT service management, including preparation of technical documentation.
- Understanding of core network infrastructure components including WANs/LANs & routing and voice delivery.
- Experience in managing service operations including in large organisations with multiple locations of sites.
- Experience in leading a small team of network specialists to ensure the most optional service performance in alignment with expected service KPIs, through appropriate event management and proactive maintenance practices.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to relevant stakeholders and work collaboratively with third-party service providers on solutions.
- University degree or tertiary qualification in related field with equivalent experience.
