**The Opportunity**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated individual within the City Growth and Development department.

We need an inspired Leader to join our supportive team as Development Contributions Coordinator - where you'll lead a small team to develop, manage and maintain Council’s Development Contributions/Infrastructure Contributions Framework to ensure that it is financially sustainable and results in the efficient and timely provision of required community and development infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage all tasks associated with development contributions implementation in accordance with Council’s DCP/ICP Implementation Framework and Policy documents.
- Ensure proposals for infrastructure delivery as works in kind are consistent with current ICPs,and are appropriately formalised in Section 173 Agreements.
- Coordinate the process for acquisition of any land required for infrastructure / facility projects to enable the delivery of that infrastructure / facility in accordance with the ICPs.
- Lead the development and implementation of new policies and procedures across the organisation under the Council’s Development Contributions and Infrastructure Contributions Implementation Framework.

**About you**

**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- Tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning, Project Management, Economics, Financial Accounting, Social Planning or related discipline with relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of urban planning in a growth area context and the challenges of infrastructure delivery.
- Excellent communication skills and have proven experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and motivating others to achieve agreed goals.
- Strong aptitude for financial risk management, problem solving and negotiation. You will also possess relationship building skills, including the ability to identify stakeholder interests and gain cooperation from a wide range of people.
