**The opportunity**
We are seeking a talented Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to join the Boeing Defence Australia EHS Systems and Assurance team. This role can be based in either Brisbane CBD or Amberley RAAF base, operating out of both.
**Responsibilities**
- Support internal customers and programs on EHS processes, issues and regulatory compliance
- Perform inspections, audits and investigate incidents
- Maintain the EHS training needs analysis
- Conducts education and training to support regulatory and business requirements
- Evaluate impacts of new regulations on company operations
- Review vendor, contractor and supplier activities for EHS compliance
- Develop, implement, maintain and continuously improve EHS reporting systems
**To be successful you will have**
- Five or more years’ related work experience
- Tertiary qualifications in EHS or a related discipline
- Extensive knowledge of relevant EHS legislation and regulations
- Energy, passion, problem solving ability with can-do attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
**Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements. An NV1 Security Clearance will be required.**
