**About Us**:
The Security and Intelligence Division (SID) of Corrections Victoria is responsible for the provision of security and intelligence services for the correctional system. This division provides security and emergency management, electronic monitoring, and intelligence services, and works with other law enforcement agencies to maintain a secure and safe correctional system.

**About the Role**:
The ‘Administration Support Officer - Human Resources and Finance' forms part of the Business Services Unit which is responsible for the provision of payroll, recruitment, finance and procurement activities for the Security and Intelligence Division. The role is primarily responsible for assisting in the processing of payroll, leave entitlements and finance related tasks. This includes updating divisional rosters and personnel files using various database and document management systems.
The position will work a fortnightly roster (76hrs, which may include some weekend work). The role is located at the Ravenhall office however may be required to operate from other SID locations on a regular basis including Melbourne CBD and Barwon.

**Some of your duties will include**:

- Assisting in maintaining personnel and payroll functions for the Security and Intelligence Division.
- Assisting in processing salary data and hours worked onto the CHRIS21 payroll system and prepare fortnightly reconciliations against the departmental rostering system
- With supervision, maintaining divisional rosters via the Time Target rostering system.

**About You**:

- Ability to interpret employee entitlements from sources such as Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement 2020, and Fair Work Act.
- Experience with an integrated personnel / payroll system and the ability to enter, modify and extract data accurately.
- Ability to seek resolution of problems through policy or process guidelines; otherwise seeks guidance by providing information and ideas relevant towards resolution of problem
