About the Role

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Project Controller to join our Outages Team reporting to the Outage Manager. You will share your expertise with our Outages Team, educating and guiding them in the effective use of our project tools and templates.

In this position you will be responsible for setting up appropriate project controls in accordance with our Project Management Framework (PMF). You will bring strong experience in producing accurate reports and forecasts that support the business to make decisions based on robust, current data.

This permanent, full-time role is site based at AGL Macquarie in Muswellbrook, NSW.

What you’ll be doing:
- Setting up appropriate project controls, along with the utilisation of tools and templates- Collaborating and educating the broader project team in the effective use of all selected project tools and templates- Producing accurate project reports and forecasts that allow senior management to make decisions based on robust and timely data- Engaging with all stakeholders involved in the outage project controls reporting and ensuring all information is compiled into one master report- Establishing and maintaining the project risk register, including tracking of risk mitigation actions and activities and continual reporting to key stakeholders of outstanding project risk

About You

With strong analytical and conceptual skills you will be experienced in contract management. With a collaborative approach you will be confident in engaging with a range of stakeholders both internal and external.

What you’ll bring to the table:
- Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and environment-
- Proven skills in communicating clear and accurate information to individuals and groups- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline or Advanced Diploma (TAFE) and relevant industry experience or qualifications in Project Cost Control or Project Management- Experience in cost planning control and reporting- Experience in project estimating, planning and/or scheduling within large scale plant operations- Proficient in the use of SAP financial and work management modules.- Working knowledge of scheduling tools (Microsoft Project and Primavera P6, preferred)- Understanding of Risk Management and reporting- Proficient in use of excel
