**The Opportunity**

The Planner is responsible for supporting the Comms Tech Systems team by providing scheduling and planning expertise to current and future Communications works in Western Australia.

This is a great opportunity to expand your skills in large infrastructure projects

**Some key responsibilities of this role will include**:

- Work with the project team on assessing and reporting on progress.
- Assist in the development of internal and external monthly reports including Safety, Scheduling, Variations, Earned Value and Commercial.
- Assist with the development of detailed project schedules in accordance with the project scope of works.
- Work with the project team on development and maintenance of project s-curves and resource curves.
- Maintain up to date work experience records and statement of competency records
- This position is responsible and accountable for supporting and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and for adherence to company policies and other applicable laws, regulations, and standards for the workplace. Ensure practices adopted reflect a commitment to the highest standard in OH&S and environment.
- Ensure that all necessary steps are taken to meet the Company’s Environmental license conditions and to minimise Environmental risks.

**About You**:

- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role supporting large infrastructure projects
- Essential Hands-on experience in programming software Primavera P6
- Rail experience would be highly regarded
- Demonstrated competency in managing various Planning functions including the provision routine reports and correspondence, defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft® Office suite of software packages and other packages required specific to engineering design
