13-month contract opportunity for an experienced Land Use Planner working within the State government space.
**Your new company and Role**
This State Government Agency based in Western Sydney are highly regarded nationally for being at the forefront of large-scale transport infrastructure development across NSW. Currently, they have a fantastic opportunity available for a Land Use Planner to join the team on contract basis to assist with the analysis of Sydney Transport network demands and create a more efficient service.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You must have excellent understanding of NSW planning legislation as well as an understanding of the Roads Act 1993. This position will be focused on providing advice and implementing informed strategies to improve network demands as well as the reviewal of green travel plans. You will be providing informed assessments on conditions required, provide recommendations to follow through to the endorsement of various works and review of travel demand management strategies.
Within this role you will be working alongside a switched on and informative team of planners on various assessments focused across the Greater Sydney area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced planner with a highly regarded state government organisation.
**What you'll get in return**
You will receive a highly competitive rate of $700 per day + Super as well as an initial 13-month contract.
