The role
Reporting to the Team Leader your role will be responsible for monitoring the hearing schedules, identify additional hearings required and arrange these in consultation.
You will respond to enquiries from patients, carers, advocates, legal practitioners, and mental health service providers about legislative and administrative requirements for hearings.
The successful person
**You will have demonstrated**:

- Demonstrated knowledge, or the ability to acquire knowledge, of the Mental Health Act 2016 and the Forensic Disability Act 2011, particularly the provisions and requirements relating to the operation and functions of the Mental Health Review Tribunal.
- Demonstrated initiative and personal management skills, including the ability to balance competing demands and prioritise workloads to meet organisational and legislative requirements.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to consult, negotiate and problem solve with a broad range of stakeholders and the ability to develop operational guidelines and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in working both autonomously and as a team member to enhance organisational effectiveness and to meet strategic goals within a changing environment.
