**Member Services Engagement Coordinator**

**Full-Time**

**$98,808 per annum inclusive of superannuation guarantee**

An exciting opportunity exists to support our business to deliver a schedule of targeted engagement opportunities with Local Government members.

If you have an ability to understand and synthesise member/customer insights and have demonstrated experience in staff coordination/organisation and/or project management including calendar coordination then we would love to hear from you.

You should be able to develop strong stakeholder relationships across all levels and build credibility to influence decisions. You should have some experience in writing, editing and collating information from diverse teams and CRM system and be extremely organised and self-motivated.

**In this role you will**:
***Be the primary contact for all member visits.
- Increase member engagement through a proactive approach with continuous and ongoing communication to members.
- Collaborate with all areas of the business to gather insights and data to prioritise engagement for greatest impact.
- Attend and provide support at a range of stakeholder events including WALGA annual convention booth.
- Undertake research to identify current key issues and/or events related to Local Government that could be utilised for member visits.
- Manage and arrange all member visit bookings with Local Governments, including invitations, travel, accommodation.
- Be responsible for accurate CRM data input and reporting.

WALGA is an independent, member-based, not for profit organisation that advocates for Local Government and provides services to support sector excellence.

As the peak industry body, WALGA advocates on behalf of WA’s 139 Local Governments, delivers professional training and advisory services to members across the State and negotiates service agreements for the sector.

We aim to leverage the collective strength and influence of the Local Government sector to benefit the WA community.

WALGA has approximately 100 staff with the majority located in our West Leederville office and organised into key portfolios: Advocacy, Policy, Member Services, Infrastructure and Corporate and Executive Services.
