Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Service Coordinator to oversee the coordination and quality of daily services provided to NDIS participants across our SIL and community programs. This full-time role is central to ensuring that all supports are delivered in line with participants' individual needs, NDIS Practice Standards, and internal policies. The ideal candidate is highly organised, confident in their understanding of compliance requirements, and passionate about building capacity in both clients and frontline staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Service Oversight: Monitor and coordinate day-to-day operations across multiple SIL homes and programs, ensuring high-quality, participant-focused service delivery.
- Compliance and Quality Monitoring:
- Review and assess shift notes and incident reports
- Submit reportable incidents to the NDIS Commission
- Report and monitor the use of restrictive practices
- Collate evidence for NDIS audits and internal compliance checks
- Participant Documentation:
- Assist in the creation and review of Support Plans, Care Plans, Behaviour Support Plans, and Risk Assessments
- Create and manage Tenancy and Residential Agreements
- Collect and maintain up-to-date client information and documentation
- Staff Coordination and Support:
- Mentor and upskill support workers as needed
- Coordinate and facilitate team meetings
- Provide administrative support to house leaders and staff teams
- Create site induction documents and support onboarding processes
- Administrative & System Tasks:
- Perform accurate and timely data entry
- Maintain participant records and service data
- Act as the NDIS portal administrator for reporting and compliance submissions
Key Skills and Attributes
- Strong understanding of NDIS compliance and quality standards
- High attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
- Proactive and confident communicator
- Organised with excellent time management and administrative abilities
- Capable of working independently and in collaboration with a wider team
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the disability, mental health, or community services sector
- Qualifications in Community Services, Disability, or a related field
- Experience with SIL or NDIS service delivery is preferred
- Familiarity with NDIS Commission portals and reporting requirements
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
