**About the Opportunity**:
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented and energetic finance professional to oversee and guide our Finance unit

The Finance Team Leader provides excellent leadership and guidance for our accounts payable and accounts receivable teams, fostering a positive work environment that promotes innovation and productivity. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of the finance unit, making sure that customer service and finance requests are processed and completed accurately within established timeframes as well as monitoring work practices and procedures to provide optimal customer service delivery in accordance with statutory and Council requirements. Where required, the Finance Team Leader will also undertake processing roles including reconciling and processing of payments from Council's collections agencies.

**Remuneration**:
$85,156 - $97,929 per annum plus superannuation

**About You**:
To be successful in this position you will hold a Certificate IV in Accounting, Financial Management, Business Management or other related discipline, and you will bring extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar role. You will have strong experience in a supervisory position, with the ability to train and mentor a team as well as foster an environment based on teamwork and cooperation.
