**About the Role**

**VetPartners is investing in a comprehensive payroll transformation project. We have completed the initial as-is and to-be analysis and have a roadmap of specific activities already developed.**

We are now seeking an experienced payroll implementation and transformation lead to drive and execute the first phase of this project, which will focus on centralising and redesigning current payroll processes and cycles; mapping, improving and documenting processes and training resources; identifying and executing quick-wins in current systems; and reviewing responsibilities, governance and controls.

This is a key role, acting as the point of contact for the Australia / New Zealand business and working with key stakeholders to ensure a smooth and organised transformation.

**What you will be doing**
- Developing comprehensive project plans for the key activities, including IR requirements, training and communication, and HRIS, T&A and Payroll system configuration
- Providing direction, leadership and develop tasks to ensure all processes are completed in a timely manner
- Resource and schedule planning
- Performing risk management to project risks and assess knock on impacts from a project / financial perspective
- Assessing the change impact on teams and individuals throughout the project period and plan to mitigating any adverse impacts
- Supporting the design, development, delivery and management of communications
- Solving technical or operational problems and evaluate options based on relevant information, resources, well-rounded experience, and knowledge
- Reviewing and making recommendations on team structure, responsibilities and training
- Developing an in-depth understanding of all stakeholder needs to design and sustainably implement processes
- Pay rule interpretation and documentation.

**Your Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience a similar role
- Clear project management experience in large scale payroll transformation.
- Key stakeholder management is vital for this position, so communication and a clear process will be key.
- Strong end-user focus and be comfortable with change management and communication methodologies to ensure successful implementation across a distributed network.
- Ability to work both strategically and operationally as part of a team
- Demonstrated skills in analytical and critical thinking, problem solving, prioritisation & proactive decision making
